Nursing Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Care Specialist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
About the RoleThis is an ongoing nursing position that requires 36 hours of work per week, with a shift of 12 hours, nights. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct detailed clinical assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Prioritize patient and family needs, creating and implementing care plans that achieve desired outcomes.
- Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families, managing discomfort and staying professional.
- Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create effective care plans, delegating tasks carefully and following up promptly.
- A current and valid nursing license.
- BLS certification or willingness to obtain it within 30 days of starting in this role.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
