We are seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing specialized radiologic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Specialized Radiologic Procedures: Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy and angiography, to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.
- Assist Physicians during Invasive Procedures: Act as a skilled assistant to physicians during invasive radiologic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain Equipment and Supplies: Ensure the proper functioning of radiologic equipment and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide Excellent Patient Care: Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and excellent communication skills when interacting with patients and their families.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Licenses/Certifications: Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, and registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).
- Experience: Four (4) years of prior experience as a Special Procedures Technologist.
