Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Radiologic Technologist I to join our team at UTHealth Houston. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographs of various body parts according to physician requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and produce radiographs using automatic processors and ensure desired results.
  • Prepare patient films for radiologist interpretation.
  • Maintain quality assurance on all radiological equipment.
  • Prepare patients for radiographic procedures and assist in accurate timing and positioning techniques.
  • Maintain and file radiology procedure paperwork and inventory supplies.
  • Coordinate student/patient room assignments in the clinic and respond to emergency situations.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) by the Texas Medical Board.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
  • Graduate from an approved two-year program in Radiologic technology.
  • No prior experience required.
