The Department of Neurology at Stony Brook University's Renaissance School of Medicine is seeking a faculty candidate for the Division of Neurohospital Medicine.
As a leading academic medical center, Stony Brook Medicine offers a unique opportunity to join a collegial academic practice and contribute to the expansion of its neuroscience service line.
Responsibilities- Weekday coverage of the general neurology inpatient and general consult service with limited telemedicine support.
- Favorable weekend and overnight call responsibility.
- Supervision of neurology residents, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and students.
- Outpatient clinical opportunities are also available.
Candidates will also have the opportunity to develop innovative clinical, educational, or research programs to suit their unique academic interests.
Qualifications- Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Neurologist with a strong interest in hospital-based patient care and clinical teaching.
- Experience or interest in both general and stroke neurology is encouraged.
- Research interest is desirable.
