Mental Health Specialist Position

Are you passionate about making a difference in the mental health field? ColumbiaCare Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mental Health Associate.
About the Position
We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to work as a member of our direct care team, serving adults with serious mental illness. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions, performing housekeeping and meal preparation, administering medication, and keeping accurate clinical documentation.
Vocational Training Program
ColumbiaCare Services offers a Vocational Training Program to accelerate the training, on-the-job experiential learning, and testing preparation for qualified employees to achieve certification as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA). This program allows you to gain valuable experience and skills while working towards your certification.
Work Schedule and Compensation
This is a full-time position, working Thursday through Monday from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. The starting wage is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, with an additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential. You will also be eligible for a 5% language differential if you are bilingual or multilingual.

Requirements and Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must have a valid Oregon driver's license, a safe driving record, and the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check. You should also have experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs, preferably in a supervised setting. If not already registered as a QMHA, we will assist you in registering within 30 days of hire.
