Auto Body Technician

Seeking a skilled Fiberglass Specialist to join our team at Stemper Auto Body in Madison, South Dakota. As a key member of our body shop crew, you will work on various projects including camper, boat, and airplane repairs.

As a Fiberglass Specialist, you will be responsible for repairing and painting fiberglass surfaces, operating equipment safely and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

• Repair and paint fiberglass surfaces on campers, boats, airplanes, and other vehicles.
• Operate and maintain all necessary equipment, following safety guidelines and manufacturer recommendations.
• Ensure a clean and organized workspace, adhering to industry standards and company policies.
• Maintain and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by law and company policy.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous materials and waste disposal.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A strong background in auto body repair and fiberglass work.
• The ability to operate a variety of equipment, including sanders, grinders, and paint sprayers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
