Loan Support Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Support Specialist to join our team at STAR Financial Bank. As a Loan Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our loan files.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer disputes and respond in a timely manner
  • Process daily loan file records, including maintenance, payment, and payoff duties
  • Verify reports from our servicing system to ensure accuracy and make adjustments as needed
  • Research and resolve outstanding issues and process necessary corrections
  • Process transactions as requested by the Asset Management Department
  • Reconcile bank-controlled accounts and associated general ledgers
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to incoming calls and inquiries

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in business administration or a related field preferred
  • At least one year of experience in a customer service role, with previous experience in mortgage and/or consumer loan servicing a plus
