Job Summary

The primary responsibilities involve assisting in the production of ELISA calibrators, controls, and conjugates.

Key Responsibilities:


- Engage in the manufacturing processes of ELISA reagents, including controls, calibrators, and HRP conjugate components, adhering to established protocols and timelines.

- Participate in the assessment of in-process materials and final products related to ELISA offerings, following documented procedures.

- Ensure the availability of supplies, testing components, raw materials, and equipment necessary to meet production timelines.

- Notify the supervisor of any shortages, potential expiration issues, equipment needs, or other factors that may disrupt the planned production schedule.


- Maintain comprehensive Device History Records and any related documentation for all manufacturing activities in compliance with current Quality Systems Regulations (QSRs).

- Assist in evaluating raw materials associated with ELISA products.

- Support SAP inventory transactions as directed by the supervisor.


- Prepare, operate, and clean laboratory equipment utilized in the production of ELISA reagent products according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

- Inform the supervisor of equipment requirements and other supplies needed to prevent production delays. Report any malfunctioning or deteriorating equipment.

- Keep the work area and laboratory organized and clean, fulfilling Friday Clean-up duties promptly.

- Adhere to established safety and environmental protocols, reporting any safety hazards immediately.

- Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or (B.S.) in biological or related sciences with 0-2 years of relevant ELISA laboratory experience.

- Certificate Program or A.S. degree with 2-3 years of relevant ELISA laboratory experience.

- Relevant work experience in an ELISA laboratory of 3-4 years may substitute for a degree.

- Fundamental laboratory skills, including solution preparation, ELISA manufacturing techniques, and operation of laboratory equipment.

- Understanding of biological and chemical laboratory protocols.

- Capability to operate basic laboratory instruments.

- Familiarity with QSR, FDA, and ISO regulations.

- Proficiency in computer operations, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Salary Range:
$23/hr - $29/hr


Compensation is determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, knowledge, education, certifications, internal equity, budget, and/or other organizational needs.
