We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Healthcare Quality Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the review and investigation of hospital incident reports, providing secretariat support to meetings and committees, and coordinating quality improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the review and investigation of hospital incident reports to identify areas for quality improvement.
- Provide secretariat support to meetings and committees, including the Total Quality Management Committee, Incident Review Committee for Serious Reportable Events, and various Quality Assurance Committees.
- Coordinate quality improvement efforts, including the annual review of departmental policies and the organization of the annual Quality & Safety Day.
- Collaborate with external organizations to improve quality and safety, including organizing quality conferences and cross-institutional improvement projects.
- Support the submission of projects or posters to external award platforms.
- Coordinate surveys, analyze data, and follow up with improvement efforts.
- Undertake special projects or initiatives as assigned by the supervisor and/or Head of Department.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in healthcare quality, preferably clinical quality related.
- Experience in facilitating quality improvement workshops and conducting training, such as Root Cause Analysis and Plan-Do-Study-Act.
- Excellent planning, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Highly motivated and self-driven with a positive can-do attitude and perseverance to overcome challenges.
