Position Overview

The Field Service Engineer will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service at client facilities, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of packaging machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute precise and timely service interventions in customer locations, ensuring optimal functionality of packaging systems.
  • Provide training to maintenance and operational staff on effective operational and maintenance protocols, alongside safety and cleanup procedures related to packaging machinery.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive expertise in the upkeep of packaging equipment and general industrial maintenance methodologies.
  • Possess a solid understanding of the mechanical aspects of automated packaging systems.
  • Bring experience in the maintenance and servicing of packaging machinery.
  • Work autonomously on installations, enhancements, and comprehensive overhauls of packaging equipment.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in machinery maintenance, ideally within the packaging sector.
  • Strong mechanical and pneumatic knowledge is essential.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and familiarity with the metric system is required.
  • Proficient computer skills are necessary.
  • Capable of handling complex technical tasks that require sound judgment and independent decision-making.
  • Experience with Siemens and Rockwell programming is advantageous.
  • This role involves approximately 90% travel, both in-state and out-of-state.
