Supervising PTAs and Support Staff in a Medical Center

We are looking for a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Physical Therapist in our acute care setting, you will be responsible for supervising PTAs and support staff, evaluating and creating patient plans of care, and interfacing with Medical Center personnel and physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise PTAs and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care
• Adhere to facility billing guidelines to ensure optimal revenue
• Ensure compliance with physical therapy board rules and regulations
• Communicate effectively with Medical Center personnel and physicians to guarantee seamless patient care
• Develop and implement personalized patient plans of care based on individual needs
• Adapt plans of care as necessary to reflect changes in patient conditions
• Utilize Medical Center computer systems to document patient information accurately and efficiently
• Provide timely and accurate documentation to facilitate effective communication among healthcare teams
Requirements:
• Minimum 6 months of experience in acute care settings (new graduates welcome to apply)
• Active BLS certification and state-specific physical therapy licensure
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
• Strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
We offer a generous salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
Estimated Salary: $95,250/year. Salary may vary based on location and experience.
