Job Summary

The Client Service Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring seamless business-to-business client and patient interactions. This position is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by expediting and enhancing patient access to care. Key responsibilities include scheduling diagnostic outpatient services, financial clearance, and collection of prepayments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively utilize computerized scheduling systems to coordinate appointments and ancillary services.
  • Register and check in patients, verifying accurate demographic data entry.
  • Respond to telephone calls in a timely manner, using professional communication and interpreting caller needs.
  • Financial clearance, including completing company authorization, verification, pre-registration, and notification of estimated amount due for services provided by both the clinic and facility.
  • Accurately bill for services related to patient visits.
  • Efficiently resolve assigned work queue items to ensure accurate and efficient claim submission.
  • Maintain complete and accurate company profiles and EMR accounts.
  • Work with prospective and contracted client companies to maintain positive and professional business-to-business customer service relations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent in General Studies.
  • 1+ years of experience in Billing/Collections and Scheduling.
  • Associates degree in Healthcare preferred.
