Evening Facilities Maintenance Specialist

AVAILABLE CUSTODIAL POSITIONS:
Full Time Hours: 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

This role involves responsibilities at various educational facilities.

It is a dual role between different school locations while the district's maintenance team is operational.


Custodians will report to and assist the building principal, the head custodian of their assigned location, and carry out a range of tasks including sanitation, upkeep, and general stewardship of the premises.

The primary objective is to guarantee that students and staff have a secure, appealing, comfortable, clean, and efficient environment for learning, recreation, work, and development.


RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in custodial services and facility operations
Willingness and capability to perform general cleaning tasks
Proficiency in operating machinery and technology relevant to facility use
Demonstrated ability to interact courteously with colleagues and the public
Must be dependable and capable of collaborating within a team
Valid Massachusetts driver's license required
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Satisfactory background checks required
Additional duties may be assigned by the building principal or Director of Finance and Operations
Completion of a two-hour asbestos awareness training within the first month of employment

COMPENSATION:
As per contractual agreement; includes a $1.35 shift differential for evening hours

During summer and school breaks, this position will shift to first shift hours
