  • Overview: Oversee the clinical management of medical quality enhancement and performance evaluation.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Establish reliable metrics for assessing practice performance.
    • Address intricate medical challenges in the absence of the Medical Director.
    • Supervise clinical personnel within a female correctional environment.
  • Essential Qualifications:
    • Medical Doctor with a valid license in Virginia.
    • Board eligible or certified in a medical or surgical specialty.
    • Graduated from an accredited medical institution.
    • Possess active experience in medical treatment and management.
    • Proficient in healthcare quality enhancement methodologies.
    • Capable of evaluation and treatment planning.
    • Adept at managing quality improvement initiatives.
    • Familiar with individual and health system performance indicators.
    • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Additional Considerations:

  • Experience in correctional healthcare settings is advantageous.
  • Involvement in quality improvement initiatives is preferred.
