Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bus Delivery Driver to join our team at Beacon Mobility. As a key member of our transportation operations team, you will be responsible for delivering buses to customers across the Midwest region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-trip safety inspections and ensure all safety devices are in working order
  • Operate radios and communicate effectively with transportation staff
  • Drive a 27,000-gross vehicle weight-rated school bus and company sedan vehicles
  • Fill out DOT logbook and maintain accurate records
  • Read and understand road signs, forms, and company policies
  • Perform basic math skills to calculate mileage, fuel usage, and maintain records
  • Write legibly to maintain necessary records and forms
Requirements
  • DOT compliance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Adaptability to variable pressures and paces in any given workday
  • Ability to tolerate heat, diesel fuel fumes, and moderate dust conditions
