Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Onsite Spanish Interpreter to join our team at Propio Language Services. As a critical member of our interpreting services, you will play a vital role in bridging the language gap and connecting people anywhere and anytime.

About the Role

As an Onsite Spanish Interpreter, you will provide consecutive in-person and virtually both by phone and video remote first-person interpretation. You will follow interpreter protocols and procedures as required by our clients and maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, and/or regulatory requirements or policies and standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality interpretation services to clients in a variety of settings.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, patients, and healthcare providers.
  • Continuously improve vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge to meet the needs of various clients.
  • Meet the requirements for various clients, such as medical, legal, social services, etc.
Requirements
  • Submission of updated Resume in English at time of Application.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Intermediate level computer skills.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to provide documentation of updated vaccinations.
  • Successful completion of a drug test and Background Check & Security Screen.
  • A signed commitment to confidentiality, adherence to ethics, and HIPAA compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of interpreting experience.
