As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Adventist Health, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive psychosocial assessments, diagnoses, and treatments to patients and their families. Your expertise will help them cope with hospitalization, illness, diagnosis, treatment, and life situations, including emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and problems related to patients' diagnoses, illnesses, treatments, and life situations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive psychosocial treatment plans using evidence-based clinical social work treatments and interventions.
- Provide crisis intervention, brief and long-term individual, marital, family, and group therapies, as well as grief and bereavement support.
- Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams and provide leadership in representing clinical social work perspectives and liaising with patients and families.
- Document assessment plans, interactions, and interventions according to departmental, hospital, and health system guidelines and standards.
- Master's Degree in Social Work: Required
- Three years' experience with clinical responsibility, including crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy: Preferred
- Experience working with behavioral health clients, providing direct assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, treatment intervention, and education to members and/or family members: Preferred
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of practice: Required
