About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our team at Mr. Appliance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the quality and efficient maintenance, and repair of appliances and other equipment. You will also develop new customers by identifying opportunities to sell additional work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install Home Appliances/Equipment: Safely install and connect home appliances and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Accurately Diagnose and Repair Appliances/Equipment: Troubleshoot and repair appliances and equipment in the customer's home, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Provide Cost Estimates and Collect Payment: Provide accurate cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed.
  • Ensure Efficient Use of Materials and Maintain Company Vehicle: Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced.
  • Complete Invoices, Daily Route Sheets, and Weekly Reports: Complete all necessary paperwork, including invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports, as required.
  • Perform Other Duties as Needed: Perform other duties as needed, which may include cross-training in related positions.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License with Clean Record: Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be at Least 18 Years of Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Proficiency in Tablet-Based Technology: Must be proficient in navigating tablet-based technology.
  • Physical Ability: Must have the physical ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance.
  • Flexible and Variable Hours: Must be able to work flexible and variable hours, including no weekends.
