Plating Technician for Electronic Component Manufacturing

Job Summary:
Galaxy Electronics Associates Inc. is seeking an experienced Plating Technician to join our team in electronic component manufacturing. As a Plating Technician, you will be responsible for plating PCBs using electrolytic methods, ensuring adherence to specifications, and maintaining equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean work environment, adhering to quality control standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve production goals and deadlines.
- Analyze plating chemistry to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain plating baths, ensuring they operate within optimal ranges.
- Keep accurate logs and records of test results.
Requirements:
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Adherence to all safety rules and regulations, prioritizing personal safety and that of colleagues.
- Knowledge of plating chemistry is beneficial but not essential.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
