Key Responsibilities
  • Database Design and Development: Design and implement database systems that meet the needs of our customers, using your expertise in relational database management systems (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases.
  • Database Administration: Ensure the security, integrity, and performance of our database systems, including data backup and recovery, database security controls, and audit and compliance requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and translate those needs into viable design solutions, using your critical thinking skills and ability to communicate complex concepts.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Use your analytical skills to troubleshoot database issues, including data replication, backups, and other related problems.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 5 years of experience in database engineering, with a strong background in RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
  • Security Clearance: Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI program access and complete polygraphs.
  • Qualifications: Experience with database security controls, audit and compliance requirements, and experience with automating routine tasks.
