Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Financial Manager to join our team at Jobot. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all corporate accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and taxes.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, federal, and international government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Manage and coordinate the annual financial audit process with external auditors.
  • Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.
  • Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
  • Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or professional accreditation (such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA)) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the finance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience with GAAP, financial reporting, annual financial audit, and annual financial report.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
  • Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
