Accounts Payable Specialist II

Admix is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist II to play a critical role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and processing invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and fostering strong relationships with vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Processing: Receive, verify, and process invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Expense Reimbursement: Monitor, review, and post employee expense reimbursements.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain and establish relationships with vendors, ensuring timely payments and addressing any payment issues.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounts payable function.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle), and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Soft Skills: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree: In accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
