NRG Energy is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our power plant facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership and supervision to a team of maintenance personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Work Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement work plans and schedules to ensure maintenance activities are completed on time and within budget.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed to the highest quality standards, and that all work is properly documented and recorded.
  • Safety and Environmental Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in a safe and environmentally responsible manner, and that all necessary safety protocols are followed.
  • Contractor Management: Manage and oversee the work of contractors and vendors, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and within budget.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of the maintenance team, and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in an engineering, business, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in power plant operations or maintenance, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of power plant operations and maintenance, as well as quality control and safety protocols.
