Job Description

Tide Cleaners is seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance professional to join our team in Houston and surroundings.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can represent our brand to the highest standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Handle general dry cleaning and laundry machines repairs.
  • Inspect store locations, maintain inventory, and schedule repairs in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven maintenance experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Related degree from a technical college a plus.
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
  • Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
  • Experience performing routine maintenance.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Professional presentation and attitude.
  • Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Dry Cleaning and Laundry equipment experience a plus but not required.
