We currently have an opening for a Support Team Operator at our facility. The hourly wage for this role is competitive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations, company policies, and general workplace protocols.
  • Engage in the daily health and safety program by consistently working in a safe manner:
    • Utilizing the required personal protective equipment at all times.
    • Ensuring that authorized tasks are performed safely.
    • Implementing necessary controls to mitigate exposure to hazards.
    • Actively participating in incident investigations, training sessions, and other health and safety initiatives.
    • Reporting all unsafe behaviors and conditions, as well as incidents, near misses, and workplace injuries/illnesses in accordance with company procedures.
  • Initiate, operate, monitor, and maintain the systems for the acid plant and wastewater neutralization plant.
  • Prepare lines for incoming oil and direct it to the appropriate processing area from storage tanks, as well as loading rail cars and tank wagons.
  • Receive and unload crude oil from wagons and rail cars.
  • Conduct daily oil inventory assessments.
  • Maintain 5S standards in assigned areas.
  • Measure tanks and calculate oil quantities; perform monthly inventories.
  • Assist with utility functions and support house and yard pumping operations.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks.
  • Complete necessary documentation related to job assignments.
  • Carry out other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and effective communication.
  • Capable of understanding instructions and following directions.
  • Willingness to work primarily in a warm to hot environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
