  • Analyze and interpret legislation related to grant programs, ensuring the district's alignment with current and future regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with airport leadership to pinpoint potential projects eligible for grant funding.
  • Draft and submit grant applications and proposals, including thorough writing, reviewing, and editing processes.
  • Facilitate and participate in meetings to discuss grant needs and application strategies.
  • Generate monthly reports detailing the status of funded and unfunded projects.
  • Maintain accurate payment records, review invoices, and ensure proper documentation of receipts.
  • Coordinate with district staff to meet grant requirements promptly.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide updates on grant statuses as per established reporting cycles.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in grant administration, including identifying, obtaining, and managing grants.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple grant projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in developing and implementing administrative programs and evaluating their effectiveness.
  • Skilled in preparing and delivering detailed financial and statistical reports.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong understanding of public administration principles and grants management.
  • Proficient in research techniques and knowledgeable about current grant information sources.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical and analytical approach.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Commitment to professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

Working Conditions

Licenses and Certifications
