Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Signet Health Corporation. As a PRN Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in our ambulatory clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the achievement of established department goals and objectives, adhering to department policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety standards.
  • Act as a backup resource for administrative positions in the practice, assisting with all staff responsibilities when staffing issues arise.
  • Analyze supply usage, maintain knowledge of required supplies, and oversee ordering and maintenance of supplies within the location.
  • Assist in the selection, training, orienting, competency assessment, and assignment of department staff.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with Medstar Health's mission, vision, goals, SPIRIT values, objectives, and patient care philosophy.
  • Ensure patient and guests have a superior experience, resolving problems, conflicts, concerns, and complaints to attain maximum patient satisfaction and care experience.
  • Foster a high reliability culture through encouragement of patient safety event reporting, application of a system approach to resolving issues, and enforcing a just culture.
  • Serve as a super user for EMR and Patient Registration tools, training other staff and upholding best practice workflows for clinical documentation, thoroughness, safety, and efficiency.
  • Implement, monitor, and reinforce Medstar Health practice or location policies and procedures, recommending new or modified policies and procedures to reduce cost and/or improve staff performance.
  • Maintain current knowledge of technical and business development, communicating relevant information to the team and supporting organizational initiatives related to new technology, clinical programs, and improving the patient experience.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 1-3 years progressively more responsible job-related experience in patient care setting is preferred.
  • CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) by the American Association of Medical Assistants required or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) through the American Medical Technologists required or the equivalent.
Salary and Benefits

$28.50 Flat Hourly Rate for PRN position.
