Now Hiring Transit Vehicle Operators
Transdev Services, Inc. is actively seeking qualified Transit Vehicle Operators to join our team.

The ideal candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of community members to various destinations including work, educational institutions, shopping centers, medical appointments, and personal errands within the local area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a transit vehicle, ensuring the safe and timely transport of passengers
  • Welcome passengers, process fare payments, and maintain a secure environment
  • Accurately report all incidents, accidents, and mechanical issues
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to provide a safe and courteous experience for passengers

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Possess a valid driver's license in good standing with the ability to obtain a CDL permit
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrate punctuality and a strong emphasis on attendance

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • Drive in various traffic and weather conditions
  • Lift, push, pull, and carry objects or equipment above shoulder level without assistance
  • Navigate stairs with ease
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
