Position Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in providing exceptional care for residents experiencing Alzheimer's and Dementia. This part-time opportunity offers a flexible schedule across various shifts: 1st shift (7am-3pm), 2nd shift (3pm-11pm), or 3rd shift (11pm-7am). Starting pay is $30 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough resident assessments and contribute to the development of personalized service plans.
  • Manage and oversee the self-administered medication program for residents.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician directives.
  • Document care provided and monitor resident conditions, reporting any significant changes.
  • Offer emotional support and ensure the safety and comfort of residents.
  • Supervise Care Partners and Home Health Aides to ensure compliance with care standards.
  • Deliver high-quality service in a compassionate environment that respects individual needs.
  • Engage in community marketing efforts by participating in tours and public relations events.
  • Assist with resident transitions and help them adjust to their new environment.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license as issued by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Commitment to ongoing education as mandated by state regulations.
  • Preferred experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.
