Banquet Houseperson

The Banquet Houseperson is responsible for setting up, breaking down, cleaning, and organizing all banquet spaces and functions. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain cleanliness of banquet, meeting, and conference areas to meet established cleanliness and quality standards.
- Ensure equipment is in full working order and report any defects.
- Project a professional manner to guests and team members.
- Follow proper food storage, handling, and preparation standards.
- Adhere to established Ecosure standards.
- Assist and serve guests in functions as needed.
- Assist back of house team as needed.
- Sets up and breaks down tables as needed.
- 6 months experience in banquets.
- Missouri class E or Arkansas P designated driver's license and a safe driving record is required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
This role requires regular walking, use of hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and talk or hear. Frequently required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally required to sit and taste or smell. Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
