Banquet Houseperson Job Summary

The Banquet Houseperson is a key member of our event services team, responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of banquets and events at our facility. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of banquet spaces and functions
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working order and report any defects
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests and team members
  • Follow proper food storage, handling, and preparation standards
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of events as needed

Requirements:

  • 6 months experience in banquets or a related field
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively to groups
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and prioritize tasks effectively
