We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Management Systems Sr. Principal Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, Florida.

This role will involve designing and developing system architectures and defining key capabilities and performance requirements for vehicle management systems.

">

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and the ability to organize work, manage time, plan, and prioritize.

Responsibilities

">
  • Management of VMS hardware procurement; Management of supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance through Earned Value Management;
">
  • Development of VMS Specification, Statement of Work, and Contractual Terms & Conditions;
">
  • Management of Purchase Orders, Supplier Deliverables, and Schedules;
">

Requirements

">
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field from an accredited university with 8 years of system architecture definition experience OR a Master's Degree in STEM with 6 years of system architecture definition experience;
">
  • Experience with at least one of the following technical disciplines: subsystem integration and test, data bus architecture definition, system integrity analysis, VMS architecture development;
">
  • Experience with hardware procurement and supplier performance management;
">
  • Experience with various contract types including Firm Fixed Price and Cost Plus;
">
  • Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company;
">

Salary Information

">

The estimated salary range for this position is $118,600 - $178,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
