At National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst II - Financial Products to join our Capital Markets Relations team.

This role is responsible for performing analysis and review of financial products, including loan syndication and leasing, as well as reporting on the Guaranteed Underwriter Program (GUP).

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of loan accounting principles and practices, including loan origination and servicing, and will be able to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing accurate and timely financial reports for the syndicated loan portfolio
  • Monitoring loan activity and coordinating loan closings and funding activities
  • Performing day-to-day accounting activities related to syndicated loan transactions
  • Acting as an intermediary to ensure smooth transactions between lessors and lessees
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and external audit processes, including regulatory requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in loan accounting, loan servicing, or commercial lending or leasing
  • Experience with loan servicing systems, such as ACBS, desired
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
