Key Responsibilities

  • Perform utility research related to electrical components of capital improvement projects
  • Prepare electrical design plans and specifications for new and existing water facilities using AutoCAD software
  • Coordinate site visits to verify existing conditions
  • Review construction submittals
  • Represent GSWC's electrical interests in project design and construction meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Knowledge and 1-2 years' experience in electrical design for water infrastructure using computer-aided design software (e.g. AutoCAD)
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
