Key Responsibilities:
Ensure Operational Excellence:
+ Grasp the processes, documentation, and terminology associated with international shipping from the issuance of purchase orders to the delivery of goods.
+ Utilize industry insights and analytical skills to modify processes and devise solutions to challenges encountered both internally and externally.
+ Coordinate shipment tasks to comply with all customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): booking confirmations, processing pre-alerts, governmental filings, executing deliveries, and ensuring accurate invoicing.
Build and Maintain Relationships:
+ Collaborate with our international team members and third-party agents to promote efficiency, exceptional customer service, and innovative problem-solving.
+ Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups on issue resolution.
+ Provide reporting and documentation assistance to both internal and external stakeholders.
+ Engage in customer business reviews.
+ Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes and create solutions in response to challenges.
Required Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent.
+ At least 1 year of experience in Global Forwarding.
