Position Overview
The Licensed Behavioral Analyst will contribute to the Specialized Needs Unit by collaborating with the behavioral team to create and implement behavior intervention strategies, conduct behavioral assessments of identified target behaviors, educate team members on procedural guidelines, and facilitate training programs for families and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all behavioral data essential for patient treatment.
The primary objective is to improve the effectiveness and measurability of behavioral interventions for patients while enhancing the feedback mechanisms between direct care personnel and clinical staff.
The secondary objective involves the application of behavioral strategies to families and other caregivers.
Data Management
The responsibility for data collection forms, methodologies, monitoring, and analysis lies solely with this role, with designated backup personnel available during scheduled absences.
While certain data entry tasks may be delegated as necessary, the individual remains accountable for the integrity of all behavioral program data.
Personnel Management
This position does not entail any personnel management duties.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related discipline is required.
- Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Licensed Behavioral Analyst is mandatory.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in delivering behavioral analysis and treatment is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and organizational abilities for developing and executing training programs are required.
- Experience in coordinating and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team is essential.
- Proficiency in teaching and training is required.
