Primary Duties
- Conduct the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects, utilizing sound engineering principles while complying with business standards, practices, and product requirements. This includes mechanical and/or electrical engineering for a range of products.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge in a specific technical field, leveraging prior experience and technical expertise to implement policies and strategies.
- Possess a deep understanding of essential business drivers, applying this knowledge to enhance personal contributions. Recognize how individual team efforts integrate with broader organizational objectives.
- Exercise judgment to propose alternative solutions within established parameters, with guidance as needed. Utilize prior experience and on-the-job training to address straightforward challenges, drawing on technical skills and analytical thinking to resolve issues.
- This position typically involves individual contributions, requiring strong interpersonal skills, or may involve early leadership responsibilities, including the hiring and development of talent. Provide informal mentorship to new team members.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in design engineering.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to analyze and resolve technical issues.
- Capability to document, plan, market, and execute engineering programs.
- Demonstrated project management proficiency.
Compensation is negotiable based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Final offers will be contingent upon the ability to obtain authorization for access to such information from the U.S. Government.
