Key Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), you will support by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiological and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic interventions conducted in the cardiovascular laboratory.
You will ensure that the procedure room is properly prepared for each procedure and monitor the inventory levels of all instruments and supplies. Participation in departmental meetings and performance improvement initiatives, as well as training new staff members, is expected. You will assist in all facets of both invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures.Qualifications:
Education, Experience, and Training Requirements:
- ARRT-R certification and licensure as mandated by the State, along with Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Electrophysiology Specialist credentials.
- Prior experience in a Cardiovascular Lab is preferred.
- Completion of a Cardiovascular Technologist training program with a focus on invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring is preferred.
- BCLS (AHA) certification is required upon hire and must be maintained.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- Proficient computer skills are essential.
