Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lakeshore Employment Inc. in Superior, WI. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for performing repairs and general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Physically examine the property on a regular basis to identify and address any maintenance needs.
  • Manage repairs and maintenance with vendors, ensuring the proper care of the property and its assets.
  • Maintain pools, landscaping, utilities, roads, signage, clubhouse, and other community infrastructure elements to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for residents.
  • Supervise outside contractors working on the property, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Adhere to all maintenance and purchasing directives, including property inspections, maintenance assignments, utility system readings and controls, landscaping and grounds, safety, and special maintenance items.
  • Prepare inventory homes for sale or rent, ensuring they are in excellent condition and ready for occupancy.
  • Troubleshoot any needs for the property, identifying and resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Minimum of two (2) years general experience in building trades, plumbing (interior and exterior required), repair and replacement maintenance or handy work.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
  • Ability to use email and other digital tools.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with 3 years of good driving history.
Compensation and Benefits

$20.00/Hour (Based on experience) plus up to 5% quarterly bonus and housing discount.
