As an Assistant Teacher, you will work alongside another Child Care Teacher to:

  • Facilitate engaging, hands-on activities tailored to the children's needs and interests.
  • Maintain open communication with parents, documenting and sharing significant milestones in their child's daily experiences.
  • Ensure a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications:

Applicants must successfully complete required background checks and meet the minimum educational and experiential criteria set by state regulations and company policies:

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience working with children in a childcare, daycare, or preschool setting is preferred.
  • Coursework in early childhood education, a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, or a related degree is preferred.

Compensation: $25.40 per hour.

The compensation range provided reflects what Bright Horizons anticipates offering for this position. Actual offers will depend on various factors including experience, education, and relevant qualifications.
