Position Overview:

The Import Export Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing export documentation and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and international trade regulations. The role requires adaptability to varying tasks to meet operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute export documentation tasks with minimal supervision, adhering to company policies and objectives.
  • Adapt to changing tasks to uphold efficiency standards and report compliance issues to management.
  • Maintain and organize all export Phytosanitary Certificates for easy access.
  • Prepare necessary documents and correspondence based on received orders.
  • Coordinate transport orders, ensuring proper arrangements for loading and unloading.
  • Invoice both domestic and international customers accurately.
  • Validate all shipping documents for international destinations.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and maintain document controls.
  • Provide analytical support for trade team initiatives as required.
  • Meet the requirements of importing/exporting countries in a compliant manner.
  • Manage complex global trade accounts.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in English with excellent reading and writing abilities.
  • Capability to interpret documents related to domestic and international shipping.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with SAP is highly desirable.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a global team environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to trade compliance.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Proficient in basic arithmetic operations.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Logistics, or International Commerce.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Import, Export, Trade & Compliance.
  • Experience with agricultural or chemical products is advantageous.
