About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer III to join our team at Cencora. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting our enterprise eCommerce B2B applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex technical solutions using J2EE components and MVC pattern in Spring MVC, and SAP Hybris
  • Build solutions using SAP Hybris, including flexible search queries, rest controllers, cronjobs, events, solr, backoffice customization, and hotfolders
  • Work on code reviews, code merges, and ensure code quality through tools like SonarQube and JSLint
  • Analyze logs from servers and troubleshoot issues
  • Work with the automation and load testing team to coordinate regular automation tests and performance tests
  • Develop Restful Web Services in J2EE using JAX-RS and other libraries, with a strong understanding of web services architecture and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Efficiently use code versioning tools like Git and Bitbucket Enterprise
  • Provide architectural insights into newer Java UI frameworks and Java server-side programming
  • Use various tools effectively, including JIRA, SLACK, Confluence, and Jenkins
  • Good knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Selenium
  • Coordinate and work with the Operations team on day-to-day production support, DevOps, and database-related issues
  • Think through complex problems and work with a team to implement real-world solutions
  • Be part of architecture scrums to create spikes for Proof of Concept items
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Understanding of and its core principles is a plus
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or equivalent related field
  • Seven years of application programming and analysis experience
  • Seven or more years of experience in building enterprise web applications
  • Two or more years of developing technical solutions using J2EE components and MVC pattern in Spring MVC, and SAP Hybris
  • Develop Restful Web Services in J2EE using JAX-RS and other libraries
  • Strong understanding of web services architecture and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Efficiently use code versioning tools like Git and Bitbucket Enterprise
  • Provide architectural insights into newer Java UI frameworks and Java server-side programming
  • Use various tools effectively, including JIRA, SLACK, Confluence, and Jenkins
