Position Overview:

Envision Imaging is currently seeking a dedicated Part-Time MRI Technologist. This role is vital in delivering high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Work Schedule:

Saturdays; 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM | Compensation: $44.51 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

1. Engage with patients to gather medical histories and provide clear instructions regarding procedures to achieve optimal imaging results.

2. Review patient records for any missing clinical details and confirm consent. Assess patients for surgical implants, allergies to contrast materials, and other relevant factors.

3. Acquire previous imaging studies as necessary and execute high-quality scans for Radiologist review.

4. Ensure patient care is prioritized throughout the imaging process, monitoring their condition and reporting any changes promptly.

5. Transfer imaging data to designated locations as required.

6. Collaborate with Radiologists to coordinate scanning protocols effectively.

7. Conduct regular inspections of imaging equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions immediately.

8. Communicate with the Lead Technologist and Center/Area Manager regarding departmental matters.

9. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) preferred.
  • Ability to effectively educate patients about procedures.
  • Detail-oriented, self-driven, and a collaborative team member.
  • Proficient in navigating multiple computer systems and applications efficiently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to exceeding expectations of both the company and its clients.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Education and Certifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or certification from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • Valid state medical board license (if applicable).
  • Current CPR certification.
