About the DepartmentThe Department of Occupational Therapy at Radford University offers a Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) degree program in two campus locations, Radford and Roanoke, Virginia. We offer both an in-person MOT degree option and an MOT hybrid bridge track for Occupational Therapy Assistants. The primary campus location for this position is in Radford, but teaching across campus locations and in both MOT tracks is expected.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will be responsible for teaching across the curriculum with an emphasis on pediatrics, advising and mentoring MOT graduate students, supervising level I fieldwork students, contributing to a departmental scholarship agenda, serving on various committees, and participating in curriculum and program development. The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree, be currently certified by NBCOT, and be eligible for licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Preferred QualificationsThe university seeks candidates with clinical experience in pediatrics, teaching experience in higher education, experience working with underserved and/or diverse populations, and evidence of a scholarship record. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the department's scholarship agenda and participate in curriculum and program development.
