Position Summary

The Corporate Financial Administrator plays a crucial role in the collection and analysis of financial data to enhance logistics network efficiency and drive cost-saving initiatives. Key responsibilities include conducting profitability assessments, forecasting financial trends, and coordinating projects focused on infrastructure and vehicle logistics support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Primary Duties
    • Collect and analyze historical financial data to create precise forecasts for volume, revenue, costs, and profitability.
    • Collaborate with various teams, including operations and finance, to gather essential information.
    • Prepare reports and presentations to convey financial performance metrics and insights to management.
    • Conduct comprehensive analyses of vehicle logistics operations.
  • Secondary Duties
    • Assist in coordinating logistics projects, network optimization, and infrastructure development.
    • Work alongside leadership and other departments to develop and implement projects.
    • Analyze proposals and opportunities with internal stakeholders.
    • Support project development and manage negotiations.
    • Review supplier contracts to ensure ongoing feasibility with stakeholders.
  • Tertiary Duties
    • Undertake additional projects as assigned.
Compensation

Annual salary range of $68,000 - $74,000 (subject to compensation study upon candidate selection).

Qualifications

Skills & Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Database Management Systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Self-starter with the capacity to work independently.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with industry conditions and carrier operations.
  • Knowledge of contract management practices.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Education & Experience
  • Associate's Degree Required; Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Repetitive hand use for typing and writing.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk as needed.
Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based with typical low-level noise exposure. Communication with colleagues and partners will mainly occur through phone and email.
