Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at Richmark Property Management. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure that all properties are well-maintained and meet company standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address any maintenance issues or concerns.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as property management and customer service, to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce maintenance expenses and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure that all maintenance staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure that maintenance services are provided in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance operations or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing maintenance teams and improving efficiency and productivity.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and protocols, including safety procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, vendors, and customers.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • HVAC, plumbing, CPO, and electrical certifications.
  • Experience with property management software and mobile maintenance apps.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and cost control principles.
