This is a Travel Allied Job opportunity that requires a high level of expertise and attention to detail. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with anesthesiologists, residents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the care of patients undergoing anesthesia, including preparation of equipment, placement of monitors, and ensuring the cleanliness of equipment.
  • Operate the cell-saver machine, track lab reports, and participate in advanced surgical cases.
  • Provide primary support in ensuring that anesthesia equipment is in good working order and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Set up and operate sophisticated equipment, perform advanced troubleshooting, and serve as a key resource person in using and maintaining specialized equipment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of in-service training programs and train staff in the roles and responsibilities of an anesthesia technologist.
  • Perform anesthesia equipment set up and troubleshooting, including testing infusion pumps, nerve stimulators, defibrillators, and transport monitors.

Requirements:

  • BLS certification
  • Two years of experience as an Anesthesia Tech
  • Preferred qualifications: certification by the registry of the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists or other nationally recognized professional certifying body
