At Sigma, Inc., we are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anesthesia care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the care of patients undergoing anesthesia, including preparation of equipment, placement of monitors, and ensuring cleanliness of equipment.
Communicate effectively with anesthesiologists, residents, CRNAs, and anesthesia technologists to ensure their needs are met throughout the day.
Operate the cell-saver machine, track lab reports, and participate in advanced surgical cases.
Provide primary support in ensuring that anesthesia equipment is in good working order and preventive maintenance is completed.
Set up and operate sophisticated equipment, perform advanced troubleshooting, and serve as a key resource person in using and maintaining specialized equipment.
Requirements:
BLS certification
Two years of experience as an Anesthesia Tech
Certification by the registry of the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists or other nationally recognized professional certifying body preferred
