About the Role

As a Simulation Engineer at BlueSpace, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining advanced simulation platforms for autonomous driving systems. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and test simulation environments that accurately replicate real-world scenarios, enabling us to validate and verify the performance of our autonomous driving systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and implement realistic vehicle, sensor, and environmental models within the simulation framework.
  • Develop and execute simulation experiments to validate and verify the performance of perception, planning, and control algorithms.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, robotics engineers, and data scientists to integrate simulation tools into the development pipeline.
  • Analyze simulation results and provide actionable insights to improve the performance and reliability of autonomous driving systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in simulation technology and incorporate them into our development processes.
  • Implement realistic virtual environments, including roads, traffic, weather conditions, and sensor models, to replicate real-world driving scenarios.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • BS (M.S or Ph.D. preferred) degree in a relevant engineering program.
  • Excellent programming skills (C/C++/Python, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of physics, mathematics, and software development principles.
  • Understanding of self-driving stack and cloud technologies.
  • Project experience aligned to simulation, autonomous vehicles, or robotics.
  • Knowledge of autonomous driving technologies, including perception, localization, path planning, and control systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and innovative environment.
