Position Overview
As a pivotal member of the OneMain Financial team, the Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting Branch Managers to cultivate a productive work atmosphere that prioritizes exceptional customer service. This position emphasizes leadership and training for branch personnel, guiding them in delivering personalized loan solutions through informed decision-making and effective collection practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve individual and branch objectives related to sales and collections while meeting customer satisfaction standards.
- Establish and nurture relationships with customers throughout the loan process and its duration.
- Offer tailored financial solutions that align with customer requirements and aspirations.
- Inform customers about optional insurance products available to them.
- Clarify loan terms and conditions to ensure customers have a comprehensive understanding.
- Acquire knowledge of credit underwriting methods and sales tools.
- Oversee the loan lifecycle, including loan closures, collection efforts, and adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist in training and mentoring Branch Team Members and provide temporary leadership during Branch Manager absences.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated success in meeting established business targets.
- Experience in leadership roles within the financial services sector.
- Willingness to obtain Insurance Licensing within six months if mandated by state regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.
Compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary, which varies based on experience and skills, along with an additional compensation program tied to individual and company performance.
